Hi I'm new here and to riding in general I started off a year ago after taking the MSF training course and got my own bike, a 700cc 23 year old honda cruiser. its a bit over sized for a starter bike and needed a lot of tlc but It was the best I could afford at the time and a bad wreck put me out of ridding shape for the rest of the season witch thankfully gave me a long time to give the poor bike the cosmetic and mechanical overhaul it needed.

anyway its tough getting by alone as I don't personally know many other riders so I thought I might hang out here and learn some things before I end up having to hunt for parts on Ebay again.

the ghost flame paint job I designed but had somebody else in town do, I know the motor is a V45 but from the sound of the replies I might have bitten off a bit much for a first bike so I think I will continue to take it very easy for a while.
