Your choices are right on the money, if you ask me. These other guys are offering up bikes with more highway capabiity. They're all good, too.

I know a couple of larger guys who have a lot of fun on the older KLR250's. Most have migrated to the newer KLX250S, though. Newre, more modern bike means fewer problems, in general.
