You could always go with the DRZ400S (not SM), too. I have one, and it gets lots of street and dirt use. Very versatile.

XR650L is time tested and durable, but bigger/heavier than the DRZ. Maybe not what you're looking for.

FWIW, never had a problem with the liquid cooling system.

There is always the Wee-strom...

Maybe the KLR-650...

Y'know, we seem to have these 'conversations' a lot.

And it seems that most of them start with either a big dude or a small lady asking the same question.

Maybe it's just me...

We have these 'conversations' a lot because the newbs keep asking the same questions before reading the new rider sticky. They probably believe their situation's unique ...

It's somewhat unweildy, true - but "I read the sticky (like the first 2 posts)" seems a bit lazy, yes?

Your complaint probably would carry more weight were you to say something like: "I read the sticky (like the first 200 posts)".............

Zraupp10 04-07-2009 04:46 PM

2, I put meant 20....
Stupid keyboard,.... yea 20 is lill lazy as well

Zraupp10 07-02-2009 07:54 PM

Whats Bes?

Eliminator 125
-124cc; 95 MPG; $3000

Ninja 250R
-249cc; 61 MPG, $4000

Ninja 500R
-498cc; 51 MPG, $5500

Super Sherpa
-249cc; 63 MPG; $4500

newagetwotone 07-03-2009 05:21 AM

Personally? I'd go with the Ninja 250R. Well, now tall are you? If you're tall the Sherpa will probably be a better idea.

Everything i've heard about the Eliminator has been to stay away from it, NEVER go near the high way on one.
