Wow! I was all set to be defensive but after watching all of it, I have to say this is nuts! These people are idiots. Have they never heard about track days?!

The answer to these problems (we have similar in Idaho) is really simple: Stop Breeding!

I assume you're referring to the '100 mph' the guy took into a corner advising 20?

helmets help in less severe accidents but not if your head actually comes off. i guess the helmet might add some weight and increase the shearing forces, hadnt thought of that. but in an accident that severe you'd probably die anyway, just a question of whether your head stays on.
