ever watch the baja 500?, those lunitics are almost on the track, and the drivers are hutling by with only some of their wheels on the ground and their vision compleatly ocluded by the dust, there is a point when you have to just say fu#kit and try to duck when you see darwin comming.

For spectator involvement you can't match Pierre LeVeaugh in the 1955 Le Mans, Mercedes SLR300.

Now that was a crash. The aluminum straight 8 engine decapitated about 10 people when it went through the crowd like a scythe.

The rest of the car (magnesuim) disintegrated into the crowd and burned. I think over 150 spectators died.

Mercedes quit racing after that crash, in respect of the dead. Alfred Neubauer was out of a job.

And I have a word or two for you: Red Mountain Enduro. The downhill at the 28 mile mark.

Where you have to smash your skidplate into the bigger rocks to slow down.

Lots of people pointing to the worst lines holding aimed cameras. A bad sign.
