I think it's time for you MOFos who keep clamoring for an American Sportbike to built to step up with some investment capital.

They can title the book "How to Make a Million Making American Sportbikes". Start with 20 million.

from the way it sounds:

carbon fiber, ohlins, marchesini, etc..

it would have to cost a WHOLE lot of money to buy one.

my guess is $20,000+

and, with only 120 HP, it'll be a hard sell.

How bout just investing in buying yourself a Buell. And for those of you who already own one, would you consider buying another American Sportbike in the future?

It's like a slower, less developed Ducati. I didn't see much in the way of inovative engineering there.

The XB-12R is cooler, I think (even though its motor blows).

That's great, but why is the front fairing so ugly? It looks like a surprised duck.

I've read a couple of shorts on this bike and the manufacturer is going to sell the bike for just shy of $25,000 according to the info I've read. But they are also soliciting investors. Your call. Should be a nice bike but I'd have a little more confidence in it after a complete road test was done by a MO or some other rag.

What? You mean these guys who bytch and whine about $12 per year for MO?
