I wish him the best. The fans are really missing out on one of the most exciting racers.

I sure enjoyed watching him ride but he was kind of like Fogerty or Biaggi to me. Really amazing rider but too much of an a$$ for me to really enjoy watching him win.
I do have a hole in my memory though. Do any of you racing gurus remember what he was riding in that '95 victory? |

Yeh,I remember like it was yesterday. Muzzy Kawasaki. I was there in the infield when there was still a grandstand at turn two. He wasn't leading, about third, and the front end went out and he lowsided. He went down and stood up before the bike stopped, ran and jumped over the bike and picked it up before the corner marshel even got there. He took back off at the end of the pack. Then came back and lapped almost everybody.UNREAL!!!!!

Scott, best of luck to you! I've been a huge fan of yours for years and loved to watch Daytona just to see you school the field. I hope your recovery continues and that you enjoy motorcycling despite not racing. You've left an indelible stamp on motorcycle racing!
