They don't last much longer than one winter anyway. 4 months of at best 8 hours of cloudy daylight, 40* and raining and the occasional clear skies and low 20's usually has them headin' back south with their teeth chattering

And why won't they? I'm from Gen X. (barely) and between 10-29 years old I owned a steady stream of I-4 sportbikes (GPz1100, GSXR1100, Katana, Interceptor) as did all my friends. Guess what we all own these days (those of us that still ride)? That's right, HD's and cruisers. And not because we suddenly decided we wanted to look like "real bikers". Don't assume that what matters to you today will be what matters to you tommorow.
