To paraphrase a past GM CEO, "motorcyclists need Honda more than Honda needs motorcyclists". Big Red has gotten a strong case of the "holier-than-thous" lately.
Touting the heavier and less powerful VFR as "new and improved" just because it's got some fancy valve actuation mechanism is a prime example. Soichiro must be rolling in his grave.

They're probably more like $800K to $1m. I think superbikes are around $100-250K.

Hmmm, you got a "dipstick" rating. You must have offended all the Honduh and VFR lovers on this site with your comment.

What? VFRs aren't heavier? They don't have less power? Honda didn't falsely claim that the bike was improved? Soichiro isn't rolling in his grave?
Did I upset some panty-waist?

It's hard not to be impressed by the technology and insane outputs of these bikes, but honestly, aside from professional racers the only people buying these things are retard wannabe-squid high-school dropout poseur road-crew workers that hold a "slow" sign during the day and live in their parent's garage.
Most riders of average ability will have more fun on a 100 horsepower vtr or tl. I'm more interested in that new KTM, even though it may not have a "5-piece w-shaped seat cowl" or a "frontal area smaller than most 600cc sportbikes." |

What a load of crap! I've owned a SV650, a ZZR1200, an RC51 and a WR250F. Very different bikes, all of them. Yet all of them had their own merits. Since you've never ridden a ZX10R, and I've put about 300 miles on one at the invitation of the good folks at Kawasaki, I'll direct you to a link that talks about the merits of the bike and the experience of riding it by 'average' people.
