Even if they stuck with the cruiser style they could have pulled it off...a few years ago. They could have taken the approach that Victory did and create their own look at a decent price (and Victory was/is priced decently except for there special additions and the Vision abortions). Sure, Victory isn't selling huge volumes, but from the reports I've read, they are turning a profit on the bikes now. But, it seems that they will throw in a generic motor, put some huge fenders on it and try to sell them for 22k a piece...and they will wonder why no one bought the bikes.
AND, the bikes they are showing appear to be the SAME bikes that were released in the last year of production before the doors were closed. And, if I recall, they were reliability nightmares. |
