Unfortunately both parties are quite guilty of the leather act.
Almost makes you want to donate to PETA after seeing enough, rather large, bikers fitting into the leather chaps and shirtless leather vests. But, yeah, the gimp outfits the sport bikers wear are just as creepy looking. And the rounder the biker, the funnier it is. But, I guess they do serve a purpose though, well, more than a leather shirtless vest does ![]() |

I like Victory; nearly bought a Hammer a few months back. As for making more power than my stock VRSCR, I do not think so. Not even close Â…

They make good motors and have a pretty nice v-twin. Maybe and Indian to compete with the V-Rod.

There's a precedent. I get a number of catalogs from cammy/boots/guns dealers oriented toward hunting. One line they push hard is .. BSA .. complete with a wing on the leading edge of the B. The Chinese version of BSA makes telescopic sights. Maybe the makers of BSA 'scopes can expand their production to include motorcycles.
Seems to me they'd have no particular difficulty with the folks back in the UK, since the name has effectively gone overseas. Come to think of it, there isn't any real reason some Chinese enterprise (what name to you give to a business that is a hybrid of government and private capital??) couldn't pick up the Indian name anyhow - though they might have a bit of trouble selling the product here in the US. |

Re Polaris: "Now, 7 yrs later they have bikes that sell very well".
I live and ride eva day here in So Cal and have yet to see one Polecatis. None. Zip Zero. Maybe they're big in Finland or someplace.

I showed up at a buddies' house to go for a ride. He has a Harley and all the gear.
He looked at my 1 pc. aerostich and said, "where are we going, the moon?" I had to counter with; "oh, is today the gay pirate parade." A good chuckle and we are both right. |
