Hi guys -
I'm having trouble finding a part. If anyone has worked on the slave cylinder on these bikes, you'll know there is one oil seal on the piston itself where the clutch pushrod makes contact with the piston. There is also another oil seal in the crankcase itself that keeps the oil (gear oil, I assume) in the crankcase. It is this second seal that I cannot find. It looks to be very similar in size to the piston seal but slightly (very slightly) larger. The piston seal is 8 X 18 X 5 (part #243094-001). I have gotten part 242919-001 (12.5 X 25 X I thought maybe it was 242781-001 but that is 14 X 24 X 6, which still seems too big. Can anyone tell me for sure which part I need?

Do you know the material? (viton, buna-n, epdm, etc.) If you cannot find the "actual" seal, you might try a local bearing-parts house. Of-times, they can source "generic" seals and bearings, but it may take a bit to get it to you if they don't deal in metric that often (I happen to have a local parts house that DOES - got all the bearings and seals to rebuild a japanese grey-market tractor gearbox recently).
Good Luck.
