Default My new Honda bike

Another of my favorite motorcycles that I owned a few years ago. The VFR has been praised as being one of the best all-round sports touring bikes, with a nice flexible V4 engine and very comfortable ergonomics. There is a lot of technology packed into this bike with features such as gear driven cams, single sided swing arm, linked brakes and a fantastic engine/exhaust sound - sounds like two Ducatis merged into one

The bike was fairly stock except for a Yoshimura slip-on exhaust and a Corbin aftermarket seat.

It was a beautiful bike and I would have loved to keep it but I never really used it so it just ended up collecting dust in the garage most of the time.

Note that the Magna below has pretty much the same engine except that the camshaft gears were replaced with chains to reduce the noise level a bit, and it also lost a gear (from 6 to 5).

Honda VFR Instruments

I’m still waiting for Honda to come out with a new version of the VFR as the current model really never gained the same level of popularity as this one (and never really rocked my boat!)- mostly because of the use of the Honda VTEC system which might work well in cars but made the bike a bit challenging to ride.

Alas! Your prayers have been answered. There already IS an new version of the VFR and it's been out for a almost a year now... which leads me to believe that you only posted something about a bike (that may or may not be yours) just so you could link/spam your sites at the bottom in your signature.

It stole the entire post from elsewhen on this, or another site.

Just another scum-of-the-earth SPAMmer.
