Working on my friends 1984 Magna 1100 and there is a hose coming off a plastic tee on the carbs that goes up and loops down, but attaches to nothing. It is leaking fuel out of it. Is this hose a vent line? Or does it attach somewhere. Thanks for any help.

Sounds to be a vent - if fuel is coming from it, one or more floats are jammed-open with crud.
