I have a 1988 Honda magna. I need new needles and seats the ones that are connected to the float. I was wondering if I can use aftermarket ones or take some out of an older magna. Did they ever make a diiferent thread for the seat in the older magnas or are they interchangable. They do have different part numbers.

Then they are different, thats usually the indication. If you get used look for wear on the needles. Aftermarket should be ok if its a reputable company like say K&L. Others Im not sure of. Good luck. Another idea would be installing a jetkit.

Magna carb jobs are punishment enough. Give yourself an early release and use new OEM parts. P.S. Just for future reference, Honda isn't like most manufacturers..they will change parts and numbers in the middle of a production run. (at least they did when I worked for them) Honda redefines attention to detail. |

Try this place....they are less expensive than most other places I have tried.... I buy most of my magna stuff there.
