Sounds like you're trying to import a bike.

There's actually a place to buy them:

Motorcycle federal certification label and emission label

Be careful you're not doing anything illegal, now.

Yes it stats with JH2. No I am not importing, it's in the garage.

If it states JH2 it's an American bike. Im guessing that your talking about the vin plate. Not the stamp on the neck but the plate that hass the vin number on it usually rivited to the bike somewhere. This one Im guessing is opposite the stamp.

You mean the sticker usually stuck to the frame downtube? I can't recall seeing anything ever riveted to a moto.

And 'cuz it'a an '82 - that sticker might be LOOOOONG gone. I've got two different bikes that are missing it.

Not a problem, if you've got a Clean Title.......
