I have an 06 VTX 1800 C1 that I've recent'y bought pipes for. I'm new to tinkering. So the question I have is this: if I put my pipes on am I going to lose HP or will I gain? Also will I need to add a fuel regulator as well as change out the air intake? Or will I be fine the way it will be after pipe installation? I like the HP where it's at I don't want to lose any not looking to gain any but if I do

If the pipes have some kind of baffle in there to give the bike some back pressure you may break even on the power. If they're engineered and flow tuned you may even gain a little. If they're just loud then you will lose power and lose money too from excess noise tickets.
