Freakin' awesome! I wonder how something like that stays in a crate so long. Do people do that on purpose, or do the bikes just get forgotten about and covered up in the back corner?

The problem they have with these bikes is that the new CBRs on the floor are faster. Maybe they can get some $ for them as antique examples of primitive technology. LOL!

Those were back from the days Honda made bikes that were worth owning.

OMG that is the stuff of legends...urban myths...drunken fantasies.

At the Honda display at Bike Week they had a collection of technical-breakthrough bikes. The NR was one of them, the placard read: "One of the rarest and most collectible motorcycles..." And now, these guys are pulling a brand new one out of a crate.

Here's a photo of the bike on display at Daytona and the placard; it came out blurry so I didn't post it on my BW thread.

BTW: around the rear wheel hub are two inscriptions:

"HIGH TECHNOLOGY FOR THE NEW AGE" and "THE RESULT OF A DECADES PERFECTION"
