Yikes! That's pricey. I'll definitely pick up a generic relay this afternoon. Thanks kindly.

As for the oil modification, I've found some CAD drawings for the oil filter collar. I was planning on enlisting the help of my school's machinist and our metal shop to make one, since the $250 is more than a third what I paid for the bike. If that doesn't work out, I'll tap and thread an NPT fitting into my main oil gallery.

It was a joke - I don't know what it ACTUALLY costs, you might check Bike Bandit or Ron Ayers for pricing. It may surprise you and me both - but that number I pulled outta my arse is typical of the pricing on components like a relay.

I was merely suggesting that there wasn't much special about it, other than it most-likely uses some odd-duck proprietary pin-pattern for the connector, only used on that year, of that model bike......... (another typical Honda thing)

Ah, got it. I thought it a bit odd that you'd have the price pinned down to "something like $127.38," but hell, I took it at face value.

I'll revise: Yikes! That's probably pricey. I'll almost definitely pick up a generic relay this afternoon. Thanks kindly.

According to Bikebandit, the Fuel Pump relay for a 1983 VF750C Magna is $62.56.

You're welcome.
