Default Touring NAS, please!!

OK, Honda. Make hard luggage and a top box standard, throw on a Harley-type windscreen on the front, add a couple of halogen fog lamps and I'll take it!!!

Default make it affordable and I want one!

I love this machine. I would suggest a few changes, like getting rid of the under-the-motor exhaust can. I think it draws too much attention from the rest of the bike. I agree with some other posts, just make it an under the seat system. (and who cares if it is now considered a Ducati styling element, it looks cool) Also, I like the front end, but would rather see it produced with a fully adjustable upside-down fork set up to help bring the price down to about $13k. And make sure it's the RC51 engine. And keep that swingarm! Put it on every bick you make to keep the costs down if you have to! It is fantasitc.

Check out the pictures on motorcycledaily.com of the left hand controls. Talk about trick...

Honda, I hope your reading this! Build it and I will come.

Default Re: Spoken like a true...clintonian

"(I'm not gonna count BMW's, as they aren't sportbikes and have shaftdrive)" Let me see...by the above poster's point of view, innovations appearing on non-"sportbikes" do not actually exist. I have a new word for poster's vocabulary: a-r-b-i-t-r-a-r-y. Stamp out bike bigotry in all its ugly forms. I'd like to volunteer here & now for motorcycle immortality by winning at Daytona on a non-"sportbike" "shaftdrive", as Reg Pridmore did on his BMW. Also, I doubt the four teams that have come in second behind BMW at the Paris-Dakar race would find any solace in the poster's statement that BMW is not a "sportbike".
