I put a pic of the '08 killer as my wallpaper and damn if the thing ain't growing on me. I think I'll leave the pic there until I either learn to hate the looks or go out and buy one.

Join HSTA & put in a Transalp wanted classified. They come up for sale occasionally. Imported to US roughly contemporary with NT650 ~'90 or so.



Not much power.

Rigid frame Harley big twins with springer forks were frequently used for off-road (desert) racing in the 40s and 50s. Ray Tanner (I think) rode one at Catalina in 51 or 52. Too bad you kids are such wimps now days. The hydraulic tractor seat was all you needed to be comfy.

Jeez. And I thought that watching guys race XLCHs off road in the 60's was tough. Even drilled to look like swiss cheese they weighted nigh 500 pounds.
