Have to agree with Kpaul about the Mini. It is overrated. Fun car but more show than go. The SOHC 4 banger is built in Mexico by Chrysler for chrissakes. They're charging 35k for them here. Maybe at 20-25000 I'd be interested. 35k will put me in a WRX, or a TSX, or a Celica GTS and have quite a bit of change.

ALtima = rattle-trap fischer price children's toy with King Kong motor.

A while back when Harley guys were talking about their bikes not depreciating as fast as Japanese machinery, including your zx-6r, wasn't your arguement that you bought a bike for riding and not as an investment? Hmmm. I think you also comment on their name calling also.

After than you can buy your own island in the caribbean and build your own roads to ride them on. Or better yet, buy Hawaii!

A WRX would work quite well I think. I didn't know the Mini engine was made by Chrysler.

I will stand by my Jag and Volvo choices though, they may be owned by Ford, but Fords about the best you get for domestic cars and the engineering and design is still Jag and Volvo

Default Not talking about depreciation in this case.

I am talking about that. What I am talking about is the price for new Mini's. If you remember PT cruisers were going for well over list when they first came out. No they are giving them away.

Default SOLD!!

Say, that's a screaming deal, there, eGlide...tell me where I can pick up a clean used 1994 CBR900RR for pennies on the dollar-what's that wind up being...maybe $100?

The truth of the matter is if you can ride at all you're capable using at least 1/2 of the performance of the new superbikes-shoot, I'd say that applies to 3/4 of the performance of these bikes. In all honesty, I'm much more comfortable knowing that I'm not likely to ride outside the bike's design parameters than am knowing any semi-sharp corner could lever the back tire off the ground.

Bryan...what do you want your bike to do for you?
