Interesting to note, though, is the difference between the increase in unit sales and the increase in profit - that hints at big discounting, which is in line with what I've seen at the dealer level recently. To me, that's a definite negative- in the long run, this will hurt them.

Ugh. 90% of those 8 million quality products are not made in the U.S., so your point is untrue and meaningless. They are made in huge factories in places like China.
