Now if they can just make the CBR600RR available for privateers to race at Daytona, maybe some of them could actually collect the contingency!

Hmmm.....
How are they supersport legal when they are not available for sale to the public? I'm sure they somehow managed to deliver enough to meet the letter of the rules, but it sure goes against the spirit of the rules. Bob |

There's an explanation of it on RoadRacingWorld's site. I think it's B.S. If it isn't available to the public, it shouldn't be allowed to race.

Agreed, about time! But still, the factory riders will always walk over the privateer. Tell me the Hayben brothers bikes are "Stock".
