I like it as long as it isn't painted in white. If it has about 100 hp and weighs in at about 500 lbs. and comes in around 8500 bucks, I'd say it might do ok. Just don't paint it white.

Good old bike manufacturers. They put out a prototype that gets huge interest and then a couple of years later you get an entirely different, less exciting bike with the same name. Still, I hope any naked standard sells well. Even Honda's. Looks like it'd be a great all arounder. Bring in a decent price point (under the price of a 1250 Bandit) and they might sell.

LR, bet ya it retails for over $10K. If Honda wants over 10K for a 680cc bike with a mini fairing and luggage, heaven knows what they'll want for an 1100. Honda will want at least $10K and the Bandit 1250 will continue to kick Honda's sales butt.

Wow, I like it. I said a long time ago that if Honda still produced a CB750 I'd buy it. This is probably as close as you can get. I guess Honda finally noticed all the hubub around vintage bikes.

"LR, bet ya it retails for over $10K."

I think you may be right on both the price, and Suzuki kicking their butt with the 1250 Bandit. This thing IS old school, and Honda did the engineering for it 30 years ago, so they could keep it cheap. We will see, but I do like it.

I don't see it as competition for the Bandito Grande`. The new 1250 is a modern bike in every respect. This is more likely to go against the Bonneville or Ducati and Sportster twin shock retro look, Maybe the GSX1400 if Suzuki would get off the pot and import it here.

Not a bad looking bike, if they keep the price competitive they should sell a few. Nice to see them honoring their own heritage instead of trying to spin off yet another Vtwin/panhead wannabe however I personaly would have gone for the early 80's CB1100F look

It's the first Honda I've seen in years that I would consider buying. Looks like it would make a good bike for a cafe' mod job.
