Red face lower honda cb550 four

I'm new to all this. I got my dad's old bike which is a honda cb550 four and it is a bit to tall. any thoughts on how to lower it? and where might i find a good place to get the parts?

Parts for a cb550? Try the junkyard. Cut the seat foam and try some shorter shocks for starters for lowering.

I think JC Whitney used to have lowering links for the CB550s. Check there or an accessory shop.

You can buy most replacement parts right out of denniskirk.com Take the seat to a local uhpolstery shop and shave about 2 inches of foam out. Put in a gel seat insert and narrow the edges like LR was saying. If you need reproduction parts for your CB there is a guy on ebay that lives in the N GA mountains that specializes in that field. When you look up motorcycle parts on ebay in the search line put in Honda CB and you'll find him pretty easy.
