Exactly what is that supposed to mean? It's colourful? Windy? A Blue-Skies Project?

Good one Moke.

Maybe Honda can market the DN-01 especially for today's stylish up-and-coming Metrosexual. (pun intended) The ultimate Manhattan Ghey-boy Cruiser. It'll be all the rage up and down Santa Monica Blvd and the Sunset Strip.

Well, they had to come up with a modern day replacement for the Pacific Coast.

You know it's just way too high at 15 grand. It wouldn't be bad for an around town runner at half the price and if you were allowed to ride it without a helmet.

The last time I went to Palm Springs with the wife and kid, we stayed at the old Estrella Villa, that's been there since the early 1920's. Patton stayed there, neat little bungalos with a kitchen, Spanish styled, three pools, tile roofs, etc.

When we got there the place had its name changed to "The Viceroy" and all the bungalos had all the Spanish stuff ripped out, 80 year old Satillo tile painted over with white paint (!?) and goofy drapes everywhere. like in ancient Rome covered the rooms. Faux flamingos and other wierd statues were all over the place, and soon we realized that our favorite place to stay in Palm Springs had become a nest of homosexuals. The manager (gay) gave us the new bio for the "Viceroy" that said "we aimed the decor of the viceroy at the single professional executive who appreciates the time and style of the art-deco motion picture days of the 1920's".

So being a straight white guy with a family I was out of my element, and in so many words was told the Viceroy wasn't a "family" place anymore, but aimed at the young single professional. the DT1 in the back of my pick-up didn't help matters much either.

So discrimination goes both ways. White straight guys are out of the car anymore. But since now I'm a cripple so that goes in my favor, and I use it every chance I get.
