Re: VFR or ZX-14?

I thought you wanted more "High end"? What about something like a Ducati ST3 with ABS? At least Ducati dealers will let you Demo the bike before you commit to buying it.

Re: In defense of the VFR

good point. I got mine at an end of the year deal, but you're exactly right.

I'm bracing for the day I have to shell out 20 grand for a goldwing. and its gettin closer every day.

but i'm pretty sure i'll do it. i wouldn't mind one right now.

i think there's a view that honda's are more reliable, but i can't say i know that since i have never had a japanese bike break, except for stupid things i did.

second on the 1250 recommendation. having ridden one, it's a fine sport-tourer. it doesn't have the ducati mystique, but bang fo yo buck comes in spades. i probably shouldn't have used that word considering the imus discussion farther up the thread...

Re: VFR or ZX-14?

Why is it ever single S.O.B. of a reporter can say that, but Imus isn't allowed? Is it because it's NOT the "N"-word?

Mind, not that I'm condoning what he said, nor did I particularly care for his politics or show.

But he *does* do an amazing amount of non-self-serving work for charity, for a "Celebrity".

Re: VFR or ZX-14?

It's not even the nappy head stuff that pisses me off it's the "ho" stuff. If I heard someone refer to one of my daughters as a ho I'd kick their balls out the top of their heads.

When did it become OK to call women that? phucking rude, vulger *******
