The DL 650 is a great choice your situation. Also look at the SV (not the s model) and the tried and true KLR650. If you have the extra beans look at a BMW F650GS. It may answer all your questions.

We will live maddening lives in between these very letters, limited to conversations about gas prices, helmet laws, GPTBs and GMPs, Harleys, Suzuki 650 Vtwins, Al Gore, tiered licensing, and the Bush administration.

I agree. Meets all requirements and is easy to wheelie in first three gears. I ride mine every day.

New to you or Fresh off the boat? How about a tapped out ZR7? It is blue and can do A wheelie...I will even throw in a "Hell's Bastards" Vinyl Fringy Vest with matching Shicklegroover Helm.
