On 1k bikes you can expect 2500-6000 miles from a back tire depending on how you ride and what tire pressure you run. More pressure means more miles up to a point. Running 33 psi I might wear a tire out in 3000 miles of my normal use. 42 psi will close to double that. 28 psi and a long long interstate might toast the rear in less than 2000 miles. 20 psi might ruin it in one tank of gas.
