Re: Any sportbike comfortable for two people?

My son says the back seat of the vfr is comfortable. Of course he only weighs 80 lbs. My wife won't get on the back of any bike, so no feedback from an adult.( Funny what one trip to 130 on the back of a CBR can accomplish. She immediately learned to ride and bought her own bike. ) The other thing about the vfr is that it seems to be sprung with passengers in mind, or fat Michael Douglas guys like me.

What is it about MO that attracts all these Michael Douglas Lookalikes?

Something in the HTML?

It's from the new Fox show, "When slashies attack!".

ZX-14. You'll get used to the power.

You just roll in like a little truck of sunshine in the morning, don't ya?

Choose a sport tourer instead

I think you need to look at sport tourers like the new Concours 14, Honda ST1300, etc. Sport bikes are not designed and built for 2 up... kbully, longride, is right in this case.

When posts are retrieved from the database, SOMEBODY needs to run them through a stripslashes function. And sometime soon please.

Looks like SQL escape characters that then aren't being removed when being retrieved back from the database.

Should be a simple fix, I'm kind of surprised it hasn't been fixed yet.

Re: Any sportbike comfortable for two people?

There are really three issues with passenger comfort, most of which can be dealt with in the aftermarket. Get someone like Rick Mayer to build you a custom seat (on any bike) and you and your pillion will be happier. The other issues are generally wind blast and foot peg vibration. Generally footpegs that bolt directly to the exhaust vibrate more, so look for that. Windblast is pretty obvious. An aftermarket windscreen can take care of this. All this said, a sport tourer is still going to be more comfortable than a GSXR with the same farkles.
