EX500, Ninja 250, or my fave learner bike, the Nighthawk 250/750. A Nighthawk750 (1991-2001 or so) is an excellent bike--drops won't kill it, and it's not super-powerful. On the other hand, it's not a stumbling wimp. Pick something nice and easy like a UJM (Universal Japanese Motorcycle) from the 1990's in the 350-750 range than a "sportbike". Ride it for at least a year, THEN get that bigger sportbike, CBR600, etc. Too many beginners get CBRs, Gixxers, etc., and wreck them. If you're new, be smart and get something reasonable.

Just remember that every day he hides he's building up pressure that will eventually come up in a veritable "Team America" vomitting sequence of insane lies and invective. A psycho like him won't be able to restrain himself for very long.

Yamaha V-Max with after-market turbo-charger and NOS bottle for when the turbo is just so yesterday.

You might need to fit some wheelie bars as well.

A sprint racers technique for balancing a bicycle with feet on the pedals so that when the race starts, he is ready to go. Takes a buncha practice. Works great for red lights when you don't want to take you feet out of the toe clips.

Good lord, the klr has a 35 inch seat height. He'd be tipping over at every stop light.

I'd recommend the SV650 over the others you list. I had my son pick one up and it is a great starter bike. One that you will not outgrow any time soon. It can be a great track bike with not too great an investment. I think its a class on its own but don't know for sure. Resale is great. My son kept his for a few years and sold it for a good dollar in no time flat. One drawback in Canada is the insurance rates on them are high for beginners. We took his bike to Florida from Ontario. He's since got a BMW but the SV650 was before marriage. He loved the bike. I think the resale on the SV is better than the K500. Good luck. Take the starter riding lessons. Take basic track courses and ride safe. Race on the track if you want to race and enjoy your bike.

Why would Ksquid use a painkiller as his psuedonym?
