Default Re: Riding Suit Q and A...

1. I had the leather tour master / cortech pants - crashed in them at 120-130mph and they lasted about 5 ft. I say that is crap and wouldn't buy them again. My ass scar agrees.

2. I used a two peice suit (cortech jacket + teknic pants after the cortech ones) for a year of racing and 5 crashes, and it held up great especialy as far as the zip together. So I'd say two pieces are 95% as safe as one peices... I personaly would never worry about them coming apart.

3. the number one thing that failed on me - my gloves. In five crashes I went though 4 pairs of gloves. In my last crash my fingers got messed up good. GET GOOOD gloves. Now I have the top of the line A* gloves and I hope they're enough.

I'm glad I checked back on the old news, that is funny. Save it and post it after every dumb comment......ok, not that often but keep it around.
