Default Re: Time for a Change of Bike?

Tadgh,

is it necessary to maintain those speeds on the roads up there? I've never been to Eire or GB, so I don't know if the speeds you're mentioning are reasonable...but I know on the SoCal highways, if you're not doing at least 75, you stand a damm good chance of becoming a Bentley's hood ormanent.

If you DO need to maintain speeds that high, look at KTM SuperDuke, or 950SM.

Default Re: Buell XB12S

I suggest the XB12X. More comfortable for the long commute and plenty agile. As for reliability, I've put almost 19,000 miles in the year since I purchased and it has been great. I did install a right side air scoop to limit fan operation when in motion.
