I recommend diethyl ether. Should be available at your local hardware store for a nominal cost. Apply liberally particularly in the area of iginition wiring and battery as these can be sources of extreme smoke odor. A few cranks to turn over the engine oughtta do the trick.

As an EOOW, I led a study of how the heck we got fuel in the po****er tanks. Since we were cutting holes in the I.O., there wasn't much else to do.

Apparently, if the grapes were stripping fuel in the forward pumproom, and Indy was doing 8 knots or less, the evaps would take in the fuel. So- after that we made sure not to distill to potable, and walleye! No fuel in the drinking water!

Ask me sometime how we almost sank her off Ft. Lauderdale in 1980!

Your buddy O'Rielly got smoked on Letterman again last night. What a pompous ass "Do you really want to debate Geopolitics with me Dave" said O'Rielly in a snide arrogant tone. Letterman proceded to systematically rip each of O'Rielly's arguments up one by one. I wish you fools ( longride, seruzaWa, and you) would wise up to that fact that O'Rielly is a chickenhawk wind bag who couldn't make it as a real journalist)

Sorry to have asked a serious question in an inappropriate internet location.

So far, my neighbor and I have used Simple Green, full strength, rinsed, and then 2 full bottles of Honda Brite,then rinsed. I took the seat off and cleaned the underside the same way, both side covers, and the plastic covering the computer and battery, ditto.

And yes, I always add Sta-bil after a fill up.

Thanks for the few serious suggestions.
