Try a set of seat beads from BeadRider. It will allow air to circulate between your posterior and the seat. Unfortunately, it won't do much for the heat on your thighs but you will find this a much cheaper alternative to the ST1300 upgrade.

You probably wouldn't have those problems with a Buell muffler under the frame

Try the FJR boards. Those guys are crafty and have come up with all sorts of solutions. They seem like a nice bunch of chaps.

Are you kidding me? Look, the '05 and before had their warm moments, but the heat issue with the '06 is so NOTHING that if you're getting a wet spot while riding the FJR I don't think the heat is the issue. The vibration must be just right though.
