...always dwelling on the downside :)

The upside is that her accuracy is far less with .357s than with .38s.

So, as long as I keep swapping out her .38s with .357 heavy loads, I still stand a fighting chance.

Re: MOtorcycle or MOped?
The Silverwing is pretty stable up to about 90-95mph. I've had it up to 115, and it does tend to get a little nervous. Still, it's perfectly happy cruising at 80mph on the interstate for hundreds of miles.

Re: MOtorcycle or MOped?
I like the use of the word "nervous". Just say not to 100mph on a scoot. How much better would that silverwing be if they could find a way to put 17" tires on it...

For God's sakes don't get a KAWASAKI NINJA 250. Why should you get the perfect bike right after passing your motorcycle license test?

I have a Motobecane that doesn't run, but you can still pedal it.

I think we used to call those MotoCocaines back in the 80s.

Re: Monster 695
Note that if the M695 has a rear frame support setup similar to the M620, there is an adjustable strut available (I'm sorry I don't have a link to the supplier's site) that can lower the seat an additional 1"- 1.5" The last time I looked it was $119.95.

Not too short bikes...
Ditto the Ninja 250 or 500 comments. For something a little different, consider the Buell CityX (said "City Cross") or the Buell Lightning. Buell makes a short model, the Lightning Scg.

Re: MOtorcycle or MOped?
I would NEVER recommend the above bikes to a beginner. Can you offer any suggestions for a beginner, or were these the first bikes you've ever ridden?

Re: MOtorcycle or MOped?
A Ninja 250 would be perfect. Or if that's too small, the new Ninja 650R looks like it's a dream come true for shorter and/or beginning riders. I think it's the kind of bike that very experienced riders will also covet. Like my SV650.

I've got to agree and add the Yamaha Majesty, although it is a bit taller than the Burgman.
