I had exactly the same problem with my Royal Star and it was the blogged jets. It was a carb model though.

If you have an injected one it could be that one zero has accidentally turned to one somewhere there in the software. Weirder things have happened.

What, trade it in when you have a chance to spend $1000 repairing a $3000 bike? Where's the fun in that?

(I must have put $5000 into my 1978 GoldWing in the last four years, so I sympathize completely.)

I'll derive a certain kind of enjoyment passing someone on the trickest litter bike with my underpowered heavy 99 ZX6R.
