![]() A lot of people are very interested and turned on by the Buells looks, that's a plus. I and my friends were put off by the way it rides and runs at first. It's hard to get used to it's feel and low revs, BUT once you warm up to it and you start riding it the way it was designed to be ridden - it is MAGIC. Not a lot was said about how seriously upscale the XB is to the SV, or most any stock japanese bike. Fully adjustable Showa suspension (USD Forks), steel braided lines. super sharp frame and swingarm, etc. etc. The fairing mount is artwork. BTW, price plastic for it, it's cheap. If you drop it, like I have twice, it's very durable and cheap to fix. Personality, visceral feel, uniqueness - it's all in there. You can find one for $4-7K I would think. I have a GSXR and M109R too in case you think I'm a Buell guy. I'm not, I'm giving objective info

![]() SV all the way or better yet ..Get a used FZ1 which is better than both of them combined.
Buy a Buell only if you are a farmer and want another tractor engine sitting around. Next to Harley's, Buell's are the biggest POS out there. |

![]() You know that's the same "cheap" switchgear as found on most Ducatis, right?

![]() Who cares what JB says.
The SV is a pretty cool bike and it will take a lot of maintenence for a harley motor to last 20 years unless you never ride it. |

![]() I don't own one, but a friend owns a HD dealership and when we run up to 129 he lets me ride the xb9. My ride is an old k100rs. too heavy for that trip. I can put 200 plus miles on the XB without trouble.
