Speed Triple. I have a 2003, as well as a 2005 Tiger. Bullet proof. Valve intervals are now 12,000. Other than that, change the oil and ride. Great bike.

That being said, the Buell CityX still catches my eye from time to time....

No opinion - neither of these two bikes do anything for me-much like riding a Harley.

Whatever you pick, it's a winner....you're not on an overpriced farm implement anymore. (Although the V-Rod is a more modern iteration of Harley tech, and the Delphi fuel injection IS actually hi-tech. Still, it's like putting EFI on a Ford 9n.)

You might want to try the S2r 800. I test rode the S2R 1000 and loved it. Great torque, fairly comfortable and a great look and sound. For the $9995, it definitley is a deal. But if you spend a lot of time in traffic, the heavy clutch pull might grow tiresome. The S2R 800 has a light pull and give you about 80% of the go. Better in traffic and would still be fun on those Sat morn jaunts.

I havent found a dealer yet that wouldnt let me take a bike out. If they want your money they'll hand you the keys. Some will give you 15 miles after you purchased it to bring it back if you dont like it. Either way Ive never bought a bike I didnt ride first.
