I'm 53 and ride an '03 FZ1. Great bike for our age group! Very fast, good handling, reliable, comfortable. It's hard to beat for the money, and as has been said here already, the '06 looks even more impressive. With your Honda discount, I'd say you have to consider the VFR. I've been reading the '06 VTEC has been retuned and is a much better ride now. Beautiful bike!

Yep, that's must be it?

Make that "K1200RS". Some day's these aging fingers just don't do as they're told!

If you buy a bike to ride it like I do (majority of weekends are 500 to 650 Mile Days) Gas Mileage may not be a concern but I do think tank range is.

One I would say buy what you want because if it sounds fun it probably will be,

As for best Bikes FZ1 great allrounder

also I believe the Buell/HD Demo rides are on the 28th and 29th at Davies in Richmond Hill do yourself a favor and at least try the 9X, 12Ss and Street Rod the majority of people I know that try them think they are the ideal compromise of sporting yet comfartable and street able with the Torquey Engienes.

Hell,I,m 54 and 5ft 5 &1/2 inches tall. l ove the '05 superhawk.See it in person, the pictures don,t do it justice. There,s a dealer in california who is selling '03,s right out the box for 6,699 american!does not include all other chages though.Nice as the price seems,I am leaning toward the 05 cause it,s just so fuggin, bootiful!Willing to pay the price for beauty, but you got a discount, use it!

Default Don't Keep Us Guessing!

Well, for heavenÂ’s sake, whatever you decide please get back to us at least twice: Once when you buy it with the rationale for the decision, and once again with final impressions after youÂ’ve had it for a year.

Right about the cans. I didn’t mention them before because they don’t affect ergonomics, but anybody buying a Superhawk should budget for some good aftermarket pipes to open up that wonderful basso profundo voice. I love my stainless steel Staintune cans – they have a great low-volume sound that won’t offend the neighbors, but when you feel like raising some hell you can pull out the baffles in two minutes flat!
