If you can swing it, spend more money and buy a newer bike. This is way too much money for an acient piece.

Look a Trader Online to see what you can get for $1,500. I'm thinking you can do a bit better than an '82.

For a beginner a much better bet would be 2-stroke Kawi H2 750. This bike can teach extreme handling techniques under regular speeds. Also, you wouldn´t lock the front wheel too often, which is a big plus for a beginner. What´s more, perfect getaway bike as nobody can see your reg plate through the smoke.

i'm having a fuel delivery problem...that and i don't enjoy stalling on the freeway.
