Agreed. And your transportation to and from the shop should be covered as well. Get it to the right dealer and you should be back on the road in a week.

While you are at it take off the side covers you buffed out at Willow and tell them those were stolen too

Based on
this craigslist post I'm guessing someone's using your fork tubes as a bong.

[Yes, I've posted that link before, but I can't help reposting it -- it cracks me up everytime I read it...]

LOL, I'll have to tell my agent that I forgot to mention the rocker covers.

Thanks for the laugh.

I'm moderating your post up to "humorous".

I love that CL posting, almost as much as I love Aprilia Tuonos. -Sean

Bah.. I've no use for a motorcycle that requires me to spend 180 bucks on a valve-adjustment. I'd rather spend my time riding thanks.

I live in an affordable neighborhood in Chicago which means I have to lock my shoes to my feet or they'll get stolen. I lock everything. I have the spare tire locked under the bed of my truck...I have my truck locked inside a gated parking lot...I have two locks on the gate of my gated parking lock.

In my garage where my buddie and I house our bikes, the rear wheel of his Speed Triple is locked to my ST3, my ST3 is locked to a 90+ lbs floor jack, the 90+ lbs floor jack is locked around the conduit running in to a junction box (hopefully a thief will toast himself trying to rip the junction box out of the wall), the front wheel of the Speed Triple is locked to the conduit. The bikes are covered. The covers are locked through opposing grommets.

I look like the high school janitor with all the those keys. It takes me 15 minutes just to get my bike unlocked. When I can sell all my locks I'll have enough money to buy another bike.

THIEVES SUCK!!!

Sorry to hear about the Beemer.

It's worse than you think. After run-in and the initial setting of the valves those bucket and shim valve trains almost never need adjusting again. You're only paying them to check the valves.

Heh heh.
