Really? Tell me more. I have a friend who is signing on the dotted line on a z1000 probably this weekend. I was trying to talk him into a 919. (Since it is what I want)

I have a 748, and a guy I ride with has an XB9R. He pulls away from my 748 on the street, and there isnÂ’t a thing I can do about it (more torque). When the speeds and rpms get higher, I make up the deficit, but thatÂ’s pretty irrelevant on the street. I had a Buell many years ago, and he has had several. They were junk. However, heÂ’s got over 5000 miles of hard riding on this one, and has not had a single dealer visit except to replace the tires. It looks like theyÂ’re much better now. Fun to ride too.

60-80 mph: 4.94sec 80-100 mph: 5.6 seconds

Ducati 748: 1/4 mile: 11.46 sec @119 mph

60-80 mph: 5.15 sec 80-100 mph: 5.22 seconds

Buell isn't paying you enough.

I haven't had any parts problems with Triumph (I have a Sprint RS and a Daytona), but I think some people did because of the factory fire. That should be over.

As for the fuel leak, there was a recall for that on Sprints. Check to see if yours was done. I bought mine used, the recall was done, and it has never leaked.

I try to take it pretty easy on the clutch (and mine has over 9000 miles on it, and it's a little grabby).

So, weak launch, comparatively soft midrange, and then I start to make it up at higher rpm, but by then we're out of room (on the street).

He wasn't out there by a ton, but I actually expected to smoke him and didn't.

His bike is a fun ride. The brake is a little weak, but again, plenty good enough for street riding.

How were there 19 when there are only 17 paragraphs on the whole page? More than one disgruntled owner per paragraph? Don't think so. If you leave out the ones that can spell, I think 5 or 6 would be the correct number.
