Yes, highway pegs will look cool on a ZZR1200. Get a sissy bar too..

All tne large high hp bikes have this problem. My Blackbird does the same thing. It does get better after you put some miles on the bike.

Wear long pants. You could try putting some sort of heat shield material on the frame too.

my zx-12R cooks my legs in slow speed riding, and immediately after I move off after running slow for a bit. but consistent airflow through the radiator (i.e. enough speed) prevents this.....

Don't forget apehangers to direct cooling air down your sleeves and shirt. Might work better if you loosen your belt too.

More HP = More heat.

The only real solution is to go with a lower HP bike. Try KPaul's Ninja.

Big problem these days. The only practical solutions are presented by the Royal Enfield Bullet, the Honda Ruckus, and anything Ural.

Get some aluminized leg chaps (and be sure to get the matching arm chaps).
