I'm looking forward to seeing BMW's new I-6 that will be out soon. They've managed to build the engine so it's only a few inches wider than a typical I-4. The HP isn't that much greater, but the torque is said to be an order of greater. Plus, the engine has perfect primary balance, and with 6 power pulses versus 2, 3, or 4, it should be very smooth.

I saw the photo but I didn't see anything about "out soon." I think it's a prototype.

Believe me, I'll be first in line if they produce it, but who knows about fancy new stuff in the Obamanomy.

It needs to be used in a situation where the pipes are exposed. What's the use of having an inline 6 if you can't see all those pretty pipes poking out?

Hope they do something about the rear hub, too. Won't help to have even more torque on a fragile hub. Of course they first have to admit that there was a problem in the first place. Good luck.
