Default Cut them some slack

Geez, at least they are updating it with new content frequently. I don't know about you but I like having minor updates periodically between big stories.

It's amazing that a 750 is in this exclusive club.

Probably major speedometer error. I know my VFR indicates 90 on the freeway when I'm flowing with traffic that I know is going 80 max.

As a kid (you know... below 25), I grew up around motorcyle shops and racing. Mostly dirt track & club road racing. We used to laugh at old biker dudes and their tall tales ~ "Yep, I was a doin' a hunnert 'n fifty on my ole' hog, and then..." We all knew that the aerodynamics of that ole' hog would barely let it break a hundred if it was dropped out of an airplane!

My Honda Superhawk went a hundred period. My RD350 in prod. race trim... maybe 120. TZ250 maybe 140+

It's amazing to me to hear the arguments now, about which street bike (steet bike!!!) will actually break 180, and have the argument be at least semi-legitimate!!!

If you are going to leave the RC51 off your list, you have to leave the Mille off as well.

MO says: “...well, it did rain last week, so it is winter and time for the bench-racing to start.”

Um, if it's ‘winter’ in LA in the first week of Oct., what would you call the current season here in Maine? Even better, what would you call it in Jan? (Insert ignorant Maine joke here)

There are as many riders now (perhaps more, it is leaf-peeping time) as there are in the too-frig'n-hot'+humid summer. And yes, it DOES get hot up here (100 degrees in Aug this year). Besides, I thought you CA guys ride year-round. Why else would one live there, what with all the other nasty stuff (earthquakes, fire, mudslides, smog, etc.). And yes, I know about the beaches and the women. Hmmm, methinks I detect the stench of wimpy. Any Alaskan riders around?

You don't RIDE at all in L.A. You merely move from one traffic snarl to the next.

Many of us would argue that lane splitting on the 405 and actually maintaining a decent rate of foreward speed, without tatooing someones mirror into your elbow, is the very definition of High Performance Riding. I know I'm more relaxed north of 150MPH on a racetrack, than I am at 40MPH between two never ending rows of cars on the 405.
