My economics education just told me that the fundamentals for the stock market are bad.... Note stock market slide today.. Along with cooling of the housing market. As Bill Mahr says sometime we have to pay for this war and stop charging it up on the Uncle Sam credit card..

Sure long term you are right but I don't think we are headed for a soft landing/correction... HD like Boeing is a great hedge ....The basic economic fundamentals are really bad... High budget deficits, a costly war, bad trade imbalances, worst current trade account since the 80s, downward pressure on the dollar in currency markets, high energy prices, unstable oil supply, etc. I took my money out last month.. I feel a correction is coming in fact this is longest run up in the market since guess yes 1929... I think some stocks who do well globally (export leaders) like Boeing, HD, Caterpillar, etc are good bets..Come back to this post next year..and I'll look like prophet.. The Buell move to outsource engines is great... Now Erik can concentrate on what he does best

There you go. If you're getting a Harley, Dyna is the way to go. A real suspension, versatile with detachable bags and windshield, cool looks, good handling, always my favorite. I particularly like the Low Rider, but then again, I have one!
