There's a pretty cool webcam of UJMs rusting away in a salvage yard in Trenton. It's at www.disposabike.com/ROIcam

Somebody told me that S&S was putting up a 113 foot tower, until they heard that Merch already announced a 124.
And as we all know, if it isn't the tallest, it isn't worth a shyt!

The Japanese are going to build a 130-foot tower, and they're going to engineer-in substandard supports so it has that authentic "Harley sway."

Amazing the advancements they've made with Controlled Chassis Flex, huh?

What if you could get an H-D for much, much less than cost?
There's a raffle being held around here for what is being advertised as a $15,000 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The bike was donated, probably by a dealer - not The Motor Company. I've seen a black and white picture and there appears to be lots of chrome. The charitable cause looks to be legitimate although the guy who is collecting the money is temporarily unemployed. It's only ten bucks a pop, though, for a chance to own a real good looking 2007 model. I had to beg off from buying a ticket for the raffle. The ultimate winner is responsible for all sales taxes in addition to the big income tax hit; I just can't afford that much pain. If you want, I can hook you up with this guy. As I said, he's between jobs right now and doesn't have a phone or email. He's real regular, though, and very faithful about showing up at a 7-11 a couple miles north of here. He hasn't sold too many tickets yet and the drawing is not that far off. If you bought maybe 10 tickets, you'd be the odds-on favorite to win a nice bike. Perhaps you could adapt your riding style to accommodate a $100 H-D. (Plus taxes) |

Dang, Fox!
Did you sleep through Indoctrination 101 again? I thought we cleared the air concerning Public Relations reports a few days ago when MO was putting out the hype for a little program called "The Rider's Edge". I have several friends and at least one neighbor who ride Harleys. None have ever been invited to date either of my two daughters, if you know what I mean. |
