be careful LR...as i remember the 74's were the "Lemon" year for Sportsters. they did a running change from right to left gear shift and some other mods that caused problems. Of course by now its probly all sorted out. I have soft spot for the pre 70 XLCH's myself...trying to talk my Bud outta a ruff 68 but he wants too much and I got too little.

This ain't a bad looking bike, but somebody needs to point out that "lowered suspension" and "increased performance" don't really go together unless you're building drag bikes.
